Gas-fired stoneware with iron oxides and glazes. This work explores the body and home as metaphors for one another. A bruised and scarred outer shell protects a vulnerable inside structure. My work reflects an interest in earth-based structures, from ant hills to rabbit warrens to adobe pueblos.
