This work was inspired by feeling my way and enjoying the process of making abstract compositions using basic elements like line, color, shape, and texture. Started working on it year 2023 and reworked it this year 2024. I love and enjoy much more the final version.
My creative process is very intuitive, consciously engaging, and enjoying the moment of creation. When I work I love the idea that I do not worry about what is about, where is it going or how is it gonna be put together. I just wanna be in my present and feel alive. And yet I know that within me there is already an image I just have to bring it out by feeling it.

Joejene C. Santos is a Filipino artist who currently resides and practices in Ottawa, Canada. His work is currently represented by Le Salon Art Club (Montreal) and is held in private collections in The Philippines, the United States, Japan, The Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, and Canada.
