Jehan Legac is a visual artist with a rich and unconventional background, working across photography, painting, and digital art. His artistic journey began at the age of 14 in Paris, when he discovered photography as a way to capture everyday beauty—starting with cats on the rooftops of the city. This early sensitivity to light and composition marked the beginning of a life devoted to visual storytelling.
At 18, he joined the French Navy, where he served as the personal photographer to Admiral Philippe de Gaulle. This experience took him around the globe—from the North Pole to tropical islands—exposing him to a wide range of landscapes and cultures that profoundly shaped his aesthetic and narrative perspective.
Upon returning to Paris, he founded a design studio where he integrated 3D imaging technologies, combining technical precision with artistic exploration. He later moved to New York, where his work evolved in conversation with the city’s creative energy and its vibrant connection to fashion and contemporary urban life.
Over the years, Legac has lived and worked in cities such as Paris, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Ibiza, and Bangkok. Today, many of his latest pieces are created in his photography studio in Bangkok.
Legac’s work is defined by a fusion of the classical and the futuristic, the intimate and the digital. His focus on the human body, femininity, and sensuality is interwoven with advanced technological tools, resulting in pieces that challenge the boundaries between aesthetics, emotion, and artificial intelligence.
