La serie The Doors non mostra porte, ma passaggi. Non descrive, ma suggerisce. Ogni dipinto si presenta come un invito silenzioso a compiere un attraversamento: quello interiore, quello della scelta, quello dell’ignoto.
In questa composizioni densa, stratificata, quasi terrestre, si intravedono fenditure di luce, scorci di orizzonti, o semplicemente aperture verso “altro”. Il gesto pittorico è materico, impastato, come a voler rendere tangibile la resistenza stessa del cambiamento. Il colore diventa terreno, muro, ombra — ma anche promessa di un altrove.
The Doors è una metafora delle tappe della vita, dei momenti in cui ci troviamo davanti a un bivio, senza sapere esattamente cosa ci aspetta dall’altra parte. Quest'opere non giudica, non guida, ma lascia spazio alla libertà individuale: sei tu a scegliere se entrare, restare o voltarti indietro.
Il quadro è un tempo sospeso, un varco mentale e sensoriale, dove lo spettatore è invitato a sostare, a riflettere, a proiettare le proprie domande.

Painting has always accompanied his life as a parallel and necessary practice, gradually maturing into a defined artistic voice rooted in material abstraction for the past three decades.
