Luigi Curcio è nato a Casabona (KR) nel 1953.
Nel 1968 trasferitosi a Torino frequenta il Liceo artistico e poi l'Accademia Albertina di Torino, dove si è diplomato nel 1978.
Vive ed esercita la professione insegnante a Torino
1985-86 fa la prima personale all' Unione culturale presso Palazzo Carignano.
Segnalato dalla commissione "Giovani Artisti a Torino" di cui faceva parte il professore P. Mantovani.
2011 partecipa alla mostra Arte Visive Segni 20x20 ( Singolare e Plurale) presso il Castello di Rivalta, a cura di R. Mastroianni.
2012 è presente alla mostra : lo Stato dell'Arte a cura di V. Sgarbi. Torino - Palazzo Esposizioni. Padiglione Italia 54° Esposizione Internazionale d'Arte della Biennale di Venezia, iniziativa speciale per il 150° anniversario Unità di Italia
2012 partecipa all'esposizione di Arte & Design - Paratissima (C' est Moi ) 8. Borgo Filadelfia. Torino
