Ivan Garbuzov (creative pseudonym Vangar) is an artist whose works go beyond the ordinary image, turning legendary cars into canvases pulsating with emotion and history.
Born in 1983 in Nizhnevartovsk, Tyumen Oblast, Ivan has been fascinated since childhood by the world where metal meets dream, and speed becomes art. His path from jewelry craftsmanship, where every detail matters, to "Environmental Design" at the Demidov Academy of Arts, has shaped a unique view of form and space.
"For many years, I have not only been fascinated, but literally obsessed with the theme of automobile design and the fascinating history of their creation. For me, a car is not just a machine, it is the quintessence of engineering, aesthetics and the human spirit. My paintings are not just reproductions; they are a dialogue with each of these masterpieces on wheels, an attempt to convey their uniqueness, grace and that invisible energy that makes hearts beat faster. I painstakingly work on every detail, using the mastery of oil painting and mixed media to bring to life the lines of the body, the shine of the chrome and the soul of each collectible car. My works are an invitation to look at cars as true works of art, frozen moments of speed and style."
