Qual è l'origine della tecnica Lacca

Dipinto realizzato utilizzando una resina derivata da linfa, arbusti vari o utilizzando vernici a lacca a base di resine termoindurenti. La tecnica consiste nel sovrapporre gli strati di lacca con una vigorosa lucidatura tra ogni strato. Il più delle volte ha un aspetto liscio e lucido, ma a volte può anche essere satinato o molto opaco. Lacca è un termine usato per descrivere una resina ricavata dalla linfa di vari arbusti che forma un rivestimento solido una volta essiccata (vernice giapponese o urushi-e) o oggetti fatti da essa. Per estensione, alcune vernici lucide e lisce sono anche qualificate come lacche, sebbene questa sostanza non sia o sia poco utilizzata nella loro preparazione. Di origine asiatica (principalmente Cina e Giappone), questa tecnica si traduce in diversi metodi di produzione: distinguiamo tra lacche scolpite, lacche decorate (decoro togidashi, decoro hiramaki-e o decoro takamaki-e) o ancora lacca burgaute (intarsiata con madreperla). -perla). Gli artigiani più illustri di questa tecnica sono in Cina: Chen Ching, Huang Xia Wu o Lao Wei; in Giappone: Kano Naonobu, Naga Shige o Zechin; e in Europa: Gérard Dagly, Eileen Gray, Jean Dunant, Gaston Suisse o Frédéric Halbreich.
