Qual è l'origine della tecnica Carbone

Il carbone di legna è un materiale che si presenta sotto forma di bastoncini (vicino al carbone), generalmente proveniente da un ramo di salice o carbone (arbusto omonimo) carbonizzato nel vuoto. Questo materiale viene utilizzato principalmente per il disegno. Permette di ottenere neri molto profondi, linee precise, fini o al contrario molto ampi, a seconda dell'utilizzo. Può essere cancellato senza difficoltà, il che lo rende una tecnica d'elezione per la realizzazione di lavori preparatori o schizzi, ma ne rende delicata la conservazione senza l'uso di fissativo (vernice o lacca).
