Brygida Figwer-Bronk „Im Reich des magischen Realismus“
Brygida Figwer-Bronk wurde in Pr.Stargard bei Danzig geboren und ebendort ihre Kindheit verbracht.
1968-1976 Kunstausbildung am Lyzeum für Bildende Künste, einschließlich auch Fachabitur für Gestaltung und Grafik, mit Schwerpunkten: Grafik, Design und Gestaltungin Gdingen (bei Danzig), danach Kunststudium-Fachbereich Grafik, u.a. 2 Jahre Privatunterricht in Malerei bei Prof. Z. Kaledkiewicz in Danzig. 1981 siedelte sie nach Deutschland um. Das Verlangen nach Zeichnen und Malen begleitet sie seit ihrem Kindesalter. Bevor sie aber mit ihren künstlerischen Arbeit anfangen konnte, arbeitete sie zuerst als Illustratorin für verschiedene Werbeagenturen, damals in Oldenburg bei Bremen. Ihre künstlerische Leidenschaft galt den grafischen Illustrationen, mit abstrakter Linienführung, die man dem magischen Realismus zuordnen konnte. Sie arbeitete damals grundsätzlich mit farbiger Tusche auf Aquarellpapier/Karton. Mit der Zeit entwickelten sich daraus fantastische, illustrative Bilder, die neben dem magischen Realismus auch einen philosophischen Sinn enthalten. Sie fing auch an, mit Acryl, Acryltusche-,Acrylgouache und Aquarell zu arbeiten. In der letzten Zeit hat sie auch die Ölfarbe für sich entdeckt. Brygida Figwer-Bronk bewegt sich in ihren Arbeiten zwischen Traum und Wirklichkeit, wobei in ihren grafischen Bildern ist die Konfrontation mit der zarten aber sehr durchdachten Linienführung oft ein spannendes Erlebnis, voller Symbolik und Dramaturgie.
Nach ihrem Umzug an die Ostsee im Jahre 2008, gründet sie in Scharbeutz mit BronkArt ein eigenes Atelier.
Brygida Figwer-Bronk hat ihre Werke in zahlreichen Ausstellungen präsentiert , einige auch selbst organisiert. Sie war Gründerin der Künstlergruppe Keramagra und ist Mitglied des Künstlervereins Bildende Kunst in Ostholstein.
