C'est en participant à 27 ans à un stage de sculpture sur bois que j'ai eu cette passion qui ne m'a jamais quittée depuis.C'est ainsi que depuis 45 ans et plus je participe à des expositions, des marchés artisanaux mais jamais très loin de chez moi Mon inspiration je la puise dans la vie paysanne avec des personnages droles, souriant, facétieux ou moqueurs quelquefois.Les amérindiens sont aussi de mes représentations car j'aime beaucoup ces peuples.
je me suis aussi formé au travail de l'argile, du platre ,du polystirène extrudé, du béton cellulaire. J'ai appris le moule en platre à pieces pour faire plusieurs memes sculpture,pour le coulage de la porcelaine.tout ceci en autodidacte par la lecture d'ouvrages spécialisés d'anatomie etc
Je n'ai jamais fait d'école d'art.Ma formation a été entierement autodidacte.
