Les yeux souvent sont grands, voire immenses comme s’ils étaient le début et la fin de toute représentation. Ils dévorent l’espace de leur présence.. Autour de lui, le monde se dilue en multiples coulures préfigurant une dislocation probable. Le traitement pictural se fait agité et dense. La couleur intense scande l’espace, parfois un trait nerveux, sauvage et exprime une radicalité de l’expression qui dépasse toute forme convenue de représentation. C’est une déflagration colorée dont la qualité expressive ne tient pas au bien peindre, mais à une sorte de disjonction du figuratif. L’humanité se recherche, s’éprouve parfois dans le religieux par un lyrisme coloré qui transpire d’émotions les plus diverses. Mais nulle morale.
