Родился 26 декабря 1964 года в России, г. Челябинск. С 1982 года по 1988 обучался изобразительному искусству в Челябинском художественном училище. В 1989 поступил на первый курс в Санкт-Петербургскую Художественно-промышленную Академию, 1995 году защитил диплом . Профессионально занимается живописью с 1989 года. За это время написал более одной тысячи картин. Сейчас живет и работает в Санкт-Петербурге.
Творческое направление можно охарактеризовать как субъективный реализм. Концептуально близок к пост-импрессионизму и живописи французского художника Поля Гогена. В создании своих картин использует только проверенные временем, классические технологии подготовки холста и натуральные масляные краски. Основным материалом служит джут, мешковина или грубый холст.
Принципиально не работает на промышленных, загрунтованных холстах, самостоятельно подготавливая поверхность будущей картины по традиционной технологии, поэтому творчество автора присутствует уже в самом начале работы. Такой подход к процессу, гарантирует качество и долговечность материальной основы живописи.
Картины художника, за прошедшее время, нашли своих ценителей в России, в странах Европы и Северной Америке.
