Riguardo l'autore
Tatiana Siedlová's unique work proves that classic, honest painting and the figurative language of inotajs are able to attract attention even in the current era. Her works are thus a challenge not only to an aesthetic point of view, but also to philosophical considerations. In a constantly advancing society, despite the abundance of new discoveries and knowledge, moral values are somehow disappearing from our world, indifference and violence are on the rise. In such a situation, art plays an irreplaceable role. Art that humanizes, whose visual statements are questions at the same time. The work of Tetiana Siedlová also communicates in this way. It disturbs the viewer and confronts her with the motives of her actions and the meaning of life. Although the fusion of tradition and modernity took on a distinctive artistic expression in the works of this married couple, they are currently much more known abroad than at home. Her works can be found in public and private collections, e.g. in Germany, the Netherlands, Great Britain, the USA and Australia.
She represented the Slovak Republic abroad several times at the Premio Citta di Porto Sant Elpidio international fine arts competition in Italy. She also participated in the prestigious international competition Perla dell' Adriatico also in Italy. Like most artists, T. Siedlova first had to go through the path of research, experimentation and filtration before discovering her personal artistic expression. As a result, she became a mature artist with a clearly defined painting vision. She believes in the power of individuality, yet respects the craft and art of the old masters.
Like the old masters, he puts one glaze layer on top of another to achieve a specific, new color. The refraction of light subsequently intensifies the impression of depth, transparency and plasticity. The technique requires a high degree of discipline, diligence and patience, which, according to her, is absent in contemporary art. Her works shine with the luster of the old world not only because of the classical technique, but also because of the motifs she processes. Allegories, metaphors, modern retellings of ancient stories always have a bit of romantic drama and scenic art in them. The artist works with representative representation, through which she processes the issue of the relationship of individuals to each other and to society. In this way, the painter connects the visually perceptible world with the supernatural or fictional world. Stylistically, she can be classified as a realist artist with a sense for the perception of abstract poetics and symbolism. Professional artist. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Member of the association of visual artists of Western Slovakia. Member of the Union of Visual Artists of Slovakia.
