Oft findet das Weltmeer Einzug in die angestrebte Ästhetik, bietet es doch einen reichen Fundus an spannungsreichen Gegensätzen und lässt ewige Eremiten auf den Menschen ähnliche Sozialstrukturen treffen, nachvollziehbare Anatomie auf fremdartige Lebensformen und wandelt sich von melancholischen Beobachtungen der Oberfläche in die beklemmende Dunkelheit des Abyss.
