Victor Molev è un artista canadese contemporaneo pluripremiato. Sta lavorando negli stili di realismo decorativo, fantasia, simbolismo e surrealismo. A metà degli anni '70, da giovane aspirante artista, ha preso lezioni di disegno e pittura sotto l'apprendistato della scultrice moscovita Tatyana Vishnyakova. Ma fu solo poco più che ventenne che Molev conobbe le opere di Salvador Dali, Max Ernst, Rene Magritte, MC Escher e Frank Frazetta attraverso libri e riviste. Molev è stato incredibilmente ispirato da questi artisti che sono diventati come mentori per lui.
Dopo aver ricevuto una formazione in architettura, l'artista ha lavorato nel settore per dieci anni. Ha poi lavorato come scenografo al Pushkin Opera and Ballet Theatre. Entrambi questi lavori si riflettono ancora nei processi creativi dell'artista. Ha creato il suo mondo unico e intuitivo di sogni e assurdità. Le sue opere sono sinceramente ingenue e gentili.
Victor Molev è nato nel 1955 a Gorkij, in Russia. Le sue opere sono state esposte in tutto il mondo, compreso il Museo d'Arte di Saint-Frajou, in Francia. Molev ha inoltre partecipato a numerosi concorsi internazionali di disegno umoristico, vincendo numerose medaglie d'argento e di bronzo.
