Denis Dolheimer ist in den 80er Jahren in der damaligen Sowjetunion geboren und als Kind nach Deutschland gekommen. In Deutschland absolvierte er sein Abitur und studierte Theologie, Philosophie und Geschichte. Leider waren seine Bestrebungen eine dauerhafte berufliche Tätigkeit zu ergreifen wenig erfolgreich. Daher fing er an sein künstlerisches Talent auszuleben, welches schon in der Kindheit klar erkennbar war. Ohne eine künstlerische Ausbildung abgeschlossen zu haben, malte er, schrieb er und machte Musik. Seine Werke sind mittlerweile im Handel erhältlich.
Dazu noch war er eine Zeitlang in stationärer psychiatrischer Behandlung, gemäß dem Motto Genie und Wahnsinn. Er hat weitgefächerte Interessen und ist vielseitig gebildet.
Für seine Werke lässt er sich am liebsten von seinen Mitmenschen und seiner Umgebung inspirieren. Geschickt schafft er es Phantasie mit Realität zu vermischen.
