È nata ad Authier in Abitibi, Quebec, Canada. Dal 1970 al 2005, ha insegnato arti visive a livello secondario, pur continuando i corsi di formazione professionale: Diploma in arti plastiche, pittura ad olio, ceramica, smalti su rame, acquerello e pastello.
Dal 1986, Christiane si dedica si dedica al pastello che ha perfezionato con maestri canadesi e americani: Dave Beckett, Daniel Green, Ben Konis, Christina Debarry e Albert Handell.
Specializzata in ritratto, natura morta e paesaggio, è eletta dalla giuria, Prima pastelista in Canada con la Pastel Society of Canada. Partecipa regolarmente ai loro eventi annuali e questi concorsi con giuria le hanno permesso di esporre, tra gli altri luoghi, a New York, Florida, Santa Fe, Vancouver, Ottawa, Portogallo, nella Repubblica Ceca del Quebec ad Abitibi e Pons in Francia.
Molti dei suoi dipinti fanno parte di collezioni pubbliche: la Fédération des Caisses populaire du Québec, la Fédération des Travailleurs du Québec, la Fondation de l'Université du Québec, il gruppo forestale Tembec e la grande squadra junior (Les Foreurs)
Ha ottenuto diversi Primi Premi nel corso della sua carriera.
