Après six mois aux beaux arts de Toulouse, il travaille en autodidacte. Après avoir potassé pas mal de manuels, parlé à de nombreux peintres, regarder inlassablement les maîtres anciens et beaucoup de travail il commence à comprendre leur état d'esprit .
Généralement les petits formats et les moyens formats sont fait au dessin tandis que les grands tableaux sont en grand format. Les sujets de prédilection sont le paysage, la nature morte et l'architecture des châteaux ou des villes anciennes. Pour le dessin les techniques préférées sont la sanguine, le dessin aux trois crayons, la pierre noire, les crayons de couleur et le pastel.
Les grands tableaux sont à l'huile et acrylique et mêlent la typographie, le bas relief avec la peinture. Les sujets sont plutôt philosophiques, sur le temps qui passe.
