Irena Aizen è un'artista russa contemporanea con una radicata tradizione artistica, essendo la terza generazione di artisti nella sua famiglia. Fin da piccola, è stata immersa in un ambiente creativo, iniziando la sua formazione artistica formale all'età di dieci anni presso un'accademia d'arte e continuando la sua formazione presso un college in Russia.
Inizialmente lavorava come illustratrice per una casa editrice di libri in Russia, ma il percorso artistico di Aizen ha preso una svolta significativa quando si è trasferita in Israele. Lì, ha ampliato la sua carriera esponendo le sue opere in varie gallerie e partecipando a mostre internazionali.
Le sue opere sono esposte in importanti istituzioni, tra cui il Museum of Russian Art di Jersey City, il Naive Art Museum of Latvia di Riga, il Tula Museum of Fine Arts in Russia, la Galerie Natalie Boldyreff di Parigi, la Danielle Peleg Gallery negli USA, la Tribes Fine Art Gallery, la Egozi Gallery e la Art & About Gallery di Tel Aviv, Israele.
