Focused on sculpture and photography, Isabel Arocena grew up under the influence of Oteiza, closely linked to her family. She was trained in the discipline of architecture between Lisbon, Belgium and Madrid. In 2019 she did collaborated with the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome. Also worked in the cultural office of the Spanish Embassy in Italy and for the UNESCO heritage organisation. She never stopped creating, until when, in 2020, found her greatest form of expression in sculpture. Since 2022 she has been exhibiting all over the world, combining her work in the atelier with the visual work of photography. She is currently based in Madrid.
