Watercolor on Paper
50 x 23 cm (Unframed, Vertical)
This original watercolor painting captures the essence of Portugal’s olive harvest, featuring freshly picked green olives alongside two ceramic dishes with golden olive oil and ready-to-eat olives. Set against a backdrop of aged blue and white azulejo tiles, the painting combines the natural richness of the harvest with the cultural beauty of Portugal’s artisanal traditions. The contrast between the earthy greens and the intricate tilework evokes a timeless Mediterranean charm.
Part of my “Portuguese Harvest on Azulejo Time” series, this piece is perfect for anyone who loves nature, culinary art, or rustic decor inspired by Portugal’s vibrant culture.
