A delightful Australian small bird couple, Spotted Pardalote.
One of the smallest but most colourful birds native to us. They look s cute.
I have used high quality watercolours and gouache detail to paint these little ones. The paper I have used is 100% cotton handmade and stained with organic black tea.
I love the earthy light brown uneven shade black tea gives on handmade papers.
Feels like I am going through some ancient papyrus papers in an old library room.
Also this artwork has decorative fine details to give it a vintage look.
