Glass and fruit 1991 - I painted these still lifes in a series of still lifes. For this I had arranged fruit, fabrics, bowls, glasses, vases etc. and photographed them. Glass and fruit 1991 - I painted these still lifes in a series of still lifes. For this I had arranged fruit, fabrics, bowls, glasses, vases etc. and photographed them. As I had taken a lot of time, the photos were necessary. I painted the still lifes in the classical way, i.e. in layers and using different glazes. I was inspired by classical Dutch still life painting. I painted the picture with artists' oil colours on canvas.

Helge Hensel is a contemporary German artist. In the course of his artistic career he developed his painting to current expressive and abstract works. His preferred painting techniques are oil, acrylic and egg tempera. He has ambitiously deepened his technical skills, primarily through self-study and participation in nude drawing, drawing and free studio courses.

Exhibitions and participation in exhibitions in Germany and England. His paintings are in private collections in Argentina, USA, Great Britain, Spain, France and Germany. After living in Spain for several years, Helge Hensel now lives in the department Lot-et-Garonne in France.
