The first drawings as a child were made on the walls of the house with everything what could write.

During my school days I mainly made 'doodle' drawings in margins and backs of notebooks. Throughout my professional career, I didn't really take (or had) the time to draw or engage in visual arts. I mainly practiced sports and music intensively.

Eventually I started drawing in 2014 at the Academy Regio Tienen (ART).
Teachers: Leen Janssens (2014, 2015 and 2017) and Elisabeth Peeters (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019). Laureate in 2019. After this study, I started my first year specializing in drawing, but due to the 'Corona' pandemic I postponed the continuation of this training. Ideal to draw and experiment fine arts at home.

My attention is mainly focused on the figurative and realism. I prefer to express that with portraits, but also with landscapes and from now and then an old building.

Charcoal, chalk, pencil, ink and bister are materials that suit me best. Pastel and watercolor also play a role in my drawings, depending on the subject.

Occasionally commission drawings make my day.

During summer holidays I teach drawing art to 10 to 12 year old children.

An art exhibition or a visit to a museum always fascinates me.
