Artist, golf and rugby

Patrice Bouscarrut lives in the South West of France, in Périgueux.
The son of an artist, he is initiated to painting at a very young age.
After studying law and economics, he haphazardly becomes a journalist in a large, daily regional newspaper in the South of France. He still works as a reporter in Périgord. This is where he discovers golf. At the same time he is fascinated by the genius of Yves Klein and his world renowned IKB blue. He sets himself to work as he wants to reproduce this blue and its particular nuance. After two years of research, he achieves his goal.
It’s from the mix of his research on Klein and his passion for golf that the idea of Green Variations has stemmed. Copying Klein’s work is not is his objective, but Patrice has drawn inspiration from this technical heritage in order to pursue his own personal path towards art exclusively destined to the golf lovers of this world.
