Andrey Tsepkov is a modern Russian artist. The main direction is figurative. Also works in the mythological genre. Realism in his paintings is harmoniously combined with impressionism. Developing his style of painting, he is engaged in illustration at the same time. Currently, more than a dozen books and appendices with his illustrations have been published. To express the author's idea in a painting, the artist most often uses several techniques at the same time. Alternating between polishing with corpus, concealer writing, and brushstroke technique with flat spots, the master of painting achieves unusual effects. At the same time, painting retains its originality and expressiveness.
The contrast of techniques helps to focus the viewer's attention on the most important thing and brings variety to the set of artistic techniques of the painter.
