Native de Montréal, Ginette réside depuis de nombreuses années dans la belle région de Memphrémagog, province de Québec. Le désir de peindre date de sa tendre enfance.  Mais, dans la famille, l’art visuel n’est pas présent dans la maison. L’art, devient impensable et impossible, l’intérêt disparait peu à peu, mais demeure au fond d’elle. 

C’est en parcourant des symposiums en 2013, que la flamme s’intensifie. C’est à ce moment que des cours, ateliers s’y ajoutent. Mais le temps investit dans son Art nourrit sa passion et lui apporte un cheminement rapide.  Fonceuse, aventurière, ceci est très représentatif dans sa démarche personnelle et artistique. 

Son travail est avant tout un hommage à la nature. Par ses peintures, elle recherche constamment le moyen d'exprimer les sentiments qu'ils dégagent pour elle: résilience, force, enracinement, originalité, espérance, singularité, mystère et impermanence. À travers ses oeuvres, elle espère inciter les gens à vivre en lien avec la nature, et également à la respecter.

C’est en 2016, qu’elle développe sa signature, et crée en autres, ses personnages sans visage. Ceux-ci expriment des émotions humaines fondamentales. Qu’est-ce que je veux dire avec cet art ? C’est célébrer l’humain, les marques que les gens laissent sur le monde. 

Ses œuvres sont présentées dans des expositions tel que symposiums, et en galeries à l'échelle nationale.

Born in Montreal, Ginette has been living for many years in the beautiful region of Memphremagog, in Québec. The desire to paint dates back to her early childhood. But, in my family, visual art is not present in the house. Art, becomes unthinkable and impossible, the interest disappears little by little, but remains deep inside her. 

It is while going through symposiums in 2013, that the flame intensifies. It is at this time that courses, workshops are added. But the time invested in her art feeds her passion and brings her a rapid progress.  Fiery, adventurous, this is very representative in her personal and artistic approach. 

Her work is above all a tribute to nature. Through her paintings, she is constantly looking for ways to express the feelings they bring to her: resilience, strength, rootedness, originality, hope, singularity, mystery and impermanence. Through her work, she hopes to inspire people to live in connection with nature, and also to respect it.

In 2016, she developed her signature, and created, among others, her faceless characters. They express fundamental human emotions. What do I mean with this art? It is to celebrate the human, the marks that people leave on the world. 

His work has been presented in exhibitions such as symposiums and galleries nationwide.
