On the carpet is depicted the goddess Arubaini from ancient Armenia, the supreme female deity of the Urartian pantheon, the wife of the supreme god Haldi.
According to Urartian legends, the sacrifice for the goddess Arubaini was to be one cow and one sheep, the goddess Arubaini also played the role of the goddess of fertility.
In the carpet-picture of Arubaini is depicted a young beautiful woman.

I was born in 1959 in the city of Kirovakan, Armenian SSR and in 1985 owing to the military service moved to Saint Petersburg, Russia. I worked on a synthetic fibre plant, participated in liquidation of nuclear [...]

I was born in 1959 in the city of Kirovakan, Armenian SSR and in 1985 owing to the military service moved to Saint Petersburg, Russia. I worked on a synthetic fibre plant, participated in liquidation of nuclear power plant accident in Chernobyl wherefore was awarded by medal for lifesaving. I was into painting since my childhood but started to do it professionally in 2007 dedicating all my time to this passion. I paint according to my spirit without adhering to any certain style.  

In 2012 the Union of Russian Artists organized my personal exhibition on the subject "Revival of Armenia".

That same year the Museum of Everything bought my 13 works.

In 2015 I participated in exhibition "Window to France. Norman Form" in the city of Fourges, France.

On 9 May, 2016 I exhibited my works in Saint Petersburg Artists Union Exhibition Centre on the show commemorated to the Victory Day.
