GEVST studied Fine Arts at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León in Mexico and lives in the Netherlands since 2004.
His artistic evolution ranges from classical techniques to digital media. At the same time, he shifts from a realistic approach to a more conceptual one. The contents, ideas, texts and accessories compete for the leading role.
GEVST works on his art from the computer, creating a dialogue between the drawing, the edited photograph and the software tools. In this digital art series, Gevst uses fantasy in contrast to ordinary images. They are little stories; small doses of magic and lyric.
