Gabriel Andrei

Gabriel Andrei is a contemporary artist based in Madrid. He believes painting is the state of mind of the artist expressed in colors and the canvas on which the artist paints is the mind of the spectator.  His work spans from oil to pastel and acrylics, but his foremost love remains watercolor. He covers a wide range of genres and techniques, from landscapes to portraits and abstracts.

Gabriel Andrei was born in Romania and has been living and working in Spain for more than 20 years. 

His original artwork was sold in Germany, Romania, Canada and Spain.  His paintings have been shown in solo and group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally. He is one of the most prolific artists of his generation both in his native and adoptive country.
