At first glance, the scene feels like a failed attempt at hiding—part documentary still, part post-apocalyptic selfie. A cropped male figure occupies the foreground, imposing his hairy limbs like a primal totem over a field of crumpled metal. These aren't just cans; they’re crushed symbols of indulgence, excess, celebration, and decay. A whole civilization of thirst, now flattened.
The purple hue, exaggerated like bruising, turns flesh into terrain. It is both man and monument, stuck between assertion and exhaustion.
There’s something both erotic and ecological at play: the body as pollutant, the body as protest. Is he defiling the landscape, or reclaiming it with unapologetic presence? The ambiguity is the point. This isn't harmony with nature—it’s confrontation. And he’s not hiding the shame.
The work invites discomfort. And then complicity.

Der Hintergrund ist ein Trümmerfeld aus Aluminium – zerdrückte Bierdosen, Überreste von Festen oder Fluchten. Die Natur im Rücken ist verwaschen, beinahe digital entrückt. Nur der Körper ist scharf, fast zu nah. Die violett verfärbte Haut wirkt wie ein Filterfehler oder ein toxischer Schimmer – der Mensch als Artefakt.
Ist das ein Ritual? Eine Peinlichkeit? Oder ein trotziges Aufbegehren im Müll der Zivilisation?
Diese Arbeit lebt vom Widerstand: gegen das Schöne, das Glatte, das Harmonische. Stattdessen: ein zotteliger Überlebender.

Ici, le corps n'est ni sujet ni objet – il est obstacle. Érigé entre le regard et le paysage, ce torse tronqué devient monument involontaire. L’arrière-plan — un tapis de canettes aplaties, échos métalliques d’excès — n’est pas décor mais diagnostic.
La chair est teintée de mauve, presque maladive, comme si l’humain avait absorbé la toxicité de son environnement. Les poils, les plis, les textures : tout est brut, volontairement non-esthétique. Mais c’est précisément là que naît la beauté — dans cette friction entre peau et matière, entre abandon et affirmation.
Ce n’est ni une offrande, ni une plainte.
C’est un corps qui dit : je suis encore là.
Même si le monde croule sous ses restes.
