The collection "Water (not just) for drinking", represents my gratitude to this element so necessary, so present and so vital.
In the "Canticle of the Creatures", St. Francis calls her "Sister Water, useful, humble, precious and pure."
Symbol of purity, she is with us at all times.
Along with the cry that announces our birth, she comes in the tears of joy from those who waited for our arrival. And so we begin our course by the river of life.
Along the way, she will always be with us, in her most varied manifestations.
In the cold solidity of the ice and the scorching steam, she reflects our moods, sometimes warm, sometimes glacial.
In dew, mist or cloud.
Hugging and wrapping in the form of rain.
With the violence of a storm or the delicacy of a drizzle, painting a gray lonely afternoon.
Drops of rain on the roof, cradling the warmth of our dreams.
Currents, waterfalls: like veils that open, revealing Nature.
Nourishing roots, caressing leaves. Bringing flowers, serving fruits.
Life for those who are thirsty.
Death for those who drown.
In sports, work and sex,
she is the sweat that drips from our forehead.
Until the day we complete our cycle and the river of life reaches the sea.
A huge, unknown sea, an ocean of mysteries and hope.
In a journey where our only compass will be the love we shared.
Once again, in the form of feeling, she will come in tears
of those who will carry us, forever, in their memories.
We return to the dust, but Sister Water is still present in those who are still alive.
In life, feelings, death.
