Kamila Matkowska est une artiste peintre polonaise contemporaine. Elle a acquis une base solide en iconographie et en symbolisme au cours de cinq années d'enseignement de l'histoire de l'art, qu'elle aime incorporer dans ses peintures. Elle est fascinée par les styles de peinture des maîtres anciens, en particulier ceux de Rembrandt et de Van Eyck. Son exploration artistique tourne autour de l'art figuratif, avec un accent sur le corps humain et l'état psychologique de l'individu.

Kamila Matkowska est née en 1982, en Pologne, où elle est diplômée de l'Académie des beaux-arts de Jaroslaw et de l'Université de Lublin. Elle vit et travaille en Belgique.
