Isabelle Molinard

At the beginning of my professional career, I have practiced illustration in the Edition, Press, Television, and Publicity fields.

My passion for the drawing and the colour gradually naturally went towards the Mural Painting and the Trompe l’Oeil. This evolution was justified by the desire to exceed the format of the page, to change support, to have a contact with the matter.
Thus I started to practise decorative painting, by expressing there the universe which I wished to divide.
.The whole, with the pleasure of painting on linen, living matter, whose average tonality makes it possible to work the shade like the light. I use water, vinyl or acrylic paintings to create the transparency, like the watercolour and the inks used in my illustrations.

My work is turned towards research of forms and transparencies, reality and imaginary, concrete and allegorical, often with an objective of perspective, Trompe l’oeil.

I work in Montparnasse, famous artist quarter. I am pleased to receive in my atelier, and to consider any decorative and artistic project.
