The origins of the evil eye belief, which is the inspiration for the evil eye bead, dates back to ancient times. This belief, whose history is almost as old as the history of humanity, also shows itself in ancient civilizations. In deep-rooted civilizations such as Sumer, Babylon and Egypt, it was believed that malicious people reflected these evils through their eyes, that they negatively affected the people in front of them and caused bad things to happen to them.
The eye-shaped evil eye bead, which still exists today, represents the eye of the god Horus, whose one eye was the moon and the other was the sun in ancient Egyptian history. According to the belief, Horus became the sole king of life as a result of the wars he won. Therefore, the eye of Horus had the precious power to destroy all evil looks and intentions.
The evil eye bead has found its place in many different beliefs and is almost a common value. This symbol, which is believed to be good against evil eyes in Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu societies, was included in the lives of Turks during the Shamanism period of Central Asia. The Turks named the evil eye as Isabet-i Ayn and used evil eye beads to protect it.

I took part in various exhibitions and organizations with my works.
After the annoying pandemic process that affected us all, I started to participate in these organizations and exhibitions professionally again.
In my new period painting works, in addition to watercolor and pencil drawing techniques, I produce works with acrylic technique on canvas.
I also work on relief decorative ceramic products and various forms with ceramics.
