Arturo Morin es un artista mexicano contemporáneo. Es considerado uno de los 100 pintores vivos más importantes de México, reconocimiento otorgado por el Instituto de Bellas Artes. Las pinturas de Morin pueden hacernos imaginar nuevos mundos o devolvernos a mundos ya imaginados, donde figuras simples como animales, humanos y la luna son las formas que hacen estallar la imaginación.
Las diversas obras del artista representan temas que van desde lo cotidiano hasta lo insospechadamente imaginativo y audaz. La peculiar forma en que el pintor ha logrado utilizar técnicas como: pastel, carboncillo, esmaltes acrílicos, óleo y acrílico sobre diferentes materiales como: papel, lienzo, madera y cantera, es una clara demostración de sus habilidades, además de el hecho de que el impacto que producen en el espectador sea sincero, sutil e inteligente.
Arturo Morin nació en 1953, en la Ciudad de México. Desde 1982 ha participado en más de 70 exposiciones individuales y colectivas, tanto en México como en el extranjero (EEUU, Holanda, Austria, España, Chile y Argentina entre otros).
