Hervé Gergaud es fotógrafo y retocador de imágenes desde hace más de 35 años. Fotógrafo y artista, evoluciona desde hace varios años en su universo onírico y surrealista gracias al fotomontaje a partir del cual produce imágenes únicas, a la vez estéticas y a veces inquietantes. Intenta perturbar al espectador a través de su imaginación con su aproximación fantasmagórica a una visión del mundo que no deja indiferente. Fotógrafo y técnico de laboratorio de formación, ha trabajado en diversas agencias fotográficas como Gamma, Sipa y la prestigiosa agencia MagnumPhotos. Ha colaborado activamente en exposiciones y libros de Henri Cartier-Bresson, Raymond Depardon, Antoine d'Agata, Joseph Koudelka, Martin Parr y muchos otros. Luego trabajó con el gran fotoperiodista Reza en la agencia Webistan. Se encargó de la conservación de su patrimonio fotográfico así como de la preparación de sus imágenes para exposiciones y libros. Retocador al servicio de Sebastião Salgado durante dos años, imprimió sus estampas para todas sus exposiciones alrededor del mundo. También trabaja como fotógrafo independiente, realizando talleres y exposiciones de fotografía (especialmente en 104) en institutos médicos para personas autistas, prisiones y hogares de ancianos. Miembro de la agencia Millennium Images en Londres desde 2019.
