I am unable to visit my hometown at this time due to unforeseen circumstances. There is currently a war, and it is a perilous situation. Right now I'm in the area around Kiev, it is hard for me to have the opportunity to continue my work here.
Most people in Ukraine, and particularly artists, are inevitably impacted by the war. I have not changed my position, and I continue to believe that an artist ought to provide his audience with sentiments of delight, particularly when there is a conflict: this is somehow what I consider my new job today.
I want to thank you for giving us Ukrainian people an opportunity express ourselves, and I also want to thank you for helping artists that are having a tough time right now.
