What inspired you to create art and become an artist? (events, feelings, experiences...)

mE  my God and Art, equal maiwandOL.

What is your artistic background, the techniques and subjects you have experimented with so far?

My experience, living in different, countries, like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Germany and traveled around the World, different cultures and religions...Saw different kind of Arts, made mE choose my own style of Art maiwandOLism founded by mE, maiwandOL, something more then surrealism, because I do more, like painting, writing stories and lyrics, creating videos, films and writing Film stories and I choose spiritual God and religion. What are the 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists, making your work unique?

My artistic name maiwandOL all over the world only mE and People find mE unique
I use toothbrushes in most of my paintings, the sign of harmony in human life
My ability to be able create many kinds of Art and I act in my own movies and videos. and I am globally famous. Ask AI or Google...maiwandOL.

Where does your inspiration come from?

From my heart, head and real God...

What is your artistic approach? What visions, sensations or feelings do you want to evoke in the viewer?

First I like it, than they like and find it cool.

What is the process of creating your works? Spontaneous or with a long preparatory process (technical, inspiration from art classics or other)?

Suddenly I have creative idea, make visible for others spontaneity.

Do you use a particular work technique? if so, can you explain it?

I copy no one, I follow no one and I work with no one.


Are there any innovative aspects in your work? Can you tell us which ones?

Yes,  I follow my talents and creativity, like watching my works again and again in the loop online or offline.

Do you have a format or medium that you are most comfortable with? if yes, why ?

Every format is suitable for my works.

Where do you produce your works? At home, in a shared workshop or in your own workshop? And in this space, how do you organize your creative work?

Mostly everywhere and depends on possibility.

Does your work lead you to travel to meet new collectors, for fairs or exhibitions? If so, what does it bring you?

No.

How do you imagine the evolution of your work and your career as an artist in the future?

Shiny.


What is the theme, style or technique of your latest artistic production?

At the moment, mE my phone and I, because separated from my wife and children, living with homeless people, difficult to find Studio or apartment in Rotterdam with small incomeI don't do drugs and alcohol...Because living with homeless people is mostly associated with drugs and alcohol. But there are also normal people, like mE, who has difficulty with finding suitable apartment, specifically in Rotterdam, because I don't want to be far from my children...I have two daughters, twins nine years old, wonderful, full of love, smart at school and at daily life...
 And I have 3 years old, incredible son, very handsome and cute...Can't describe the love of my children, incantation and no one gave mE so much love and I sacrifice for them...

Can you tell us about your most important exhibition experience?

I had exhibitions in famous Cafe Restaurant in Germany, in Amsterdam by Art and faction and in museum Bazonnale in Germany.

If you could have created a famous work in the history of art, which one would you choose? And why ?

I would like to have my own museum maiwandOL, and would like to mix Afghan clothes culture with European cultures in sculptures and paintings.

If you could invite one famous artist (dead or alive) to dinner, who would it be? How would you suggest he spend the evening?

I will invite Salvador Dali, cut his mustache,  put it in the soup, after he eats, will tell him Dali Dali go to Bali, it's my turn.
