What inspired you to become an artist ? What is your path?

Creativity in Art has always been a part of me, having had a father who mainly used ceramics as an expressive technique, making delicate roses and colorful flowers with clay or painting on tiles to make black and white or colorful paintings as well as oil paintings.

What are the 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists?

My hands as a tool for the creations in clay that become sculptures or ceramic creations and also for oil paintings on wood. The Diploma as a Ceramist, obtained in 1997, has given me the opportunity to understand how much the experience I made, watching my father working with clay, had taught and formed me. Since 1998, having the possibility of a very special and evocative space on two levels, in the historic center of Rome until 2012, which I had given the name of Emotional Laboratory and then SpaziOfficina, I began to organize exhibitions of contemporary art sharing with artists the exhibition space as well as giving the first services exhibition.

Where does your inspiration come from?

All my works have an essence...that I realize with competence...living the reception...to serve the self-consciousness...to manifest its presence... Writing is another skill I have and love to make me able to put into words what I feel, realize. Passion burns, burns like sacred fire....in life and art as if it were fire...to feel, to live the emotion I strongly invoke...!

Tell us about the conception of your works. Do you have a long preparatory work or is it spontaneous?

Every idea can become matter of creation and it is suggestive, also for who realizes, to see materialize in front of the eyes that quid, as a splinter of light, light up to become a work ... in Ceramics, Sculpture, Oil on Wood, Stories, Poems ...

What do you want to show through your work?

The passion at the service of creativity.

Do you use unusual techniques or materials in your work?

In my double role of Artist and Organizer of Exhibitions and Events, Active Participation is the essential and indispensable element that I consider winning for my Life and Art Experiences.

Do you have a favorite format? Why?

More than a format and above all a Style that is the complex of choices and expressive means that constitute the peculiar imprint as a Person and Artist.

What difficulties do you encounter in your work?

There are no difficulties that cannot be overcome...

How do you work? At home, in a shared atelier or private?

In my free and creative workshop SpaziOfficina in Rome where I paint and in which I have included the Ceramic Oven that allows me to make works and creations of ceramic furniture and use in full autonomy.

Does your work as an artist lead you to travel a lot ?

I appreciate the opportunity to exhibit in order to gain experience, confront myself and get to know other Artists. "Passion at the service of creativity in Art, as an engine of positive action and well-being" This is synthetically and philosophically my thought that I carry on in continuous transformation.

What is the best moment of your career?

The moment and present moment is the best, in this Freedom and mode of Life and Art.

How do you see yourself in your work in ten years?

Time is but a convention, something else is left in the shadows, the best comes when everything comes to light

What are you currently working on? Do you plan to expose your works soon?

Planning and information on interesting exhibition spaces in Italy and beyond, in which to organize an exhibition of my particular creations in Ceramics and Sculptures and Oil Paintings, linked by a common theme, or even two-personal with artists whose works I appreciate, to share the experience and network using and conveying information through art books I made to which I gave the name NATURA CONTEMPORANEA, as the same one of which we are made but also as dual Artistic and Contemporary because we live this time and era. NATURA CONTEMPORANEA responds to the same needs of visibility of an Art Catalog, but in this case it is personal as it is reserved for Artists, their works and information. NATURA CONTEMPORANEA is designed and realized Personalized for each Artist, from the front cover to the inside pages.

If I could create a famous work in the history of art, what would it be?

My most expressive work will be the last one. For all my creations and works, Ceramics, Sculpture, Painting, the realization is manual without molds or tools, each work is unique.

If you could invite a famous artist (dead or alive) to dinner, who would it be?

With the Artist Vincent van Gogh I share a passion for Sunflowers, a flower that always seeks the light and is recharged with strength, I realize it with the clay where each petal is inserted to form a variegated corolla that welds to the stem and its fleshy leaves, or with Oil Paints on Wood for Works and Paintings in which the countryside, especially that of Tuscany, where the lush nature is manifested, here too I use my fingers as the only tool, a mode that allows me to feel the wood and to enter into a relationship with it, and the pastiness of the oil color allows me to slip and express with the characteristic that identifies me, strength and energy, the color on the wood to give it the form, the desired appearance, I am material even in painting.
