"My inspiration has always been creativity. It is a characteristic I have had since I was very young. I try to be creative in everything I do, and this eventually was instrumental in inspiring me to create artwork in different branches and styles".

What inspired you to create art and become an artist (events, feelings, experiences...)?

My inspiration has always been creativity. It is a characteristic I have had since I was very young. I try to be creative in everything I do, and this eventually was instrumental in inspiring me to create artwork in different branches and styles. The colors, modernity, global theme, and contemporaneity have been very important when it comes to creating artwork that inspires me and, more importantly, inspires others.

What is your artistic background, techniques and themes you have experimented with so far?

My artistic taste focuses mainly on abstract, modern, contemporary, street and pop art styles. Without a doubt, my artistic style encompasses these currently booming areas. My art features popular and cultural characters, with a street art style that brings it to generate positive thinking in today's global situations.

My technique is used on canvas, paper, newspaper, cardboard or any surface he can get his hands on, using mainly acrylic paints and aerosols. My style is characterized by paint splatters, lines, scribbles, spots and colorful tones in each of his works. All of my works depict an everyday situation, but with a focus on a specific theme. The titles of my works always use a positive ideology. Esteban Vera always signs his works bottom and center. The main feature of my style is the straight black and white lines he uses in each of his paintings.

What are the 3 aspects that differentiate you from other artists, making your work unique?

I characterize myself as a modern artist with a vision toward the future and a positive approach that he tries to capture in each of his series, plastic and digital works. He considers art as an essential part of mis daily life. The quality that most characterizes me is that of being an extremely creative person, which he uses in everything he does today. It is undoubtedly my way of life.

Where does your inspiration come from?

I have a great deal of experience in group and individual exhibitions, auctions in events for the benefit of associations, cultural events and awards, as well as domestic and foreign art exhibitions. My main artistic influences are Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Voka, Peter Terrin, Francoise Nielly, Alec Monopoly, and many others. My works have been exhibited in various galleries in different cities around the world, such as Miami, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Chicago, Paris, Montpellier, Barcelona, The Hague, Tokyo, Mexico City, Merida, Monterrey, Queretaro, Cancun, and many others.

What is your artistic approach? What visions, sensations or feelings do you want to evoke in the viewer?

My main interest is to encourage positive thoughts of alternate situations, through characters and colorful forms embodied in my artwork.

The visual perception that people might have when they focus on my works is fundamental to bring them into the globalized life we have nowadays, in the happiness that a work could cause them and above all, to capture a positive current in all possible aspects.

What is the process of creation of your works? Spontaneous or with a long preparatory process (technical, inspiration from the classics of art or others)?

I use both characteristics, both spontaneous and a long preparatory process; it all depends on the work of art to be made.

Do you use any particular working technique? If so, can you explain it?

My style is distinguished by the presence of everyday situations, I use bright colors, and the disorder in my works, is a fundamental part to be associated with that Pop / Contemporary current that characterizes me.

For this, I use different artistic techniques such as drawing, painting, sculpture and the intervention of different objects. Always keeping the same process in each work, starting with an idea, shaping it in various sketches and sketches, continuing with the thorough elaboration of the work and ending with the distinctive details of my style.

Are there any innovative aspects in your work, and can you tell us which ones?

It is difficult to finish a work, as I always find new twists or details that I would like to add; that is why it is very important to be happy with the final result, in order to generate that same satisfaction to my collectors.

Currently, you have entered the world of digital art, led by your most recent works NFTs (Non Fungible Token), which are marketed and exhibited in the Open Sea digital marketplace.

Do you have a format or medium with which you are most comfortable? If yes, why?

Most of my works are medium and large format, on canvas, newspaper or paper. I always use acrylic paints and aerosols.

Where do you make your works, at home, in a shared studio or in your studio? And in this space, how do you organize your creative work?

At home I have my own specialized workshop with all the necessary tools to create my artworks in different artistic fields.

Does your work lead you to travel to meet new collectors, to fairs or exhibitions? If so, what does it bring you?

Of course I have had the opportunity to travel to different cities in Mexico and abroad to exhibit my works. It is a great learning experience to collaborate with different international galleries, because it helps you grow as an artist and have a more global view of art. It is always good to exchange views, ideas and learning with different people to grow and elevate our artistic landscape in different parts of the world.

How do you envision the evolution of your work and career as an artist in the future?

Every year I think I have evolved, creating new works in different branches of art, innovating and mixing styles, tools, and above all, making creativity flow in every work I make. I am convinced that very soon I will be able to exhibit at Art Basel in Miami, USA. It is a dream and a goal that I would like to achieve in the short term. In the long term I would like to be considered one of today's most influential contemporary artists. To be able to be present in modern art galleries around the world to make my message and creativity known in each of my artworks.

What is the theme, style or technique of your latest art production?

My style is characterized by paint splatters, lines, doodles, stains and colorful tones in each of his works. All of my works represent an everyday situation, but with a focus on a specific theme. The titles of my works always use a positive ideology. Esteban Vera always signs his works bottom and center. The main characteristic of my style is the straight black and white lines he uses in each of his paintings.

I characterize myself as a modern artist with a vision toward the future and a positive approach that he tries to capture in each of my series, plastic and digital works.

Can you tell us about your most important exhibition experience?

My most important exhibitions have been in Miami Beach and in Merida, Mexico. Both exhibitions were solo shows with great cooperation from both galleries. In Miami I was represented by Galería del Sol and Artsy; and in Merida I was represented by Arte1010 Gallery. They lasted more than a month each, having great sales and future prospects of a great number of collectors. Undoubtedly they have been 2 exhibitions that have marked my artistic career.

If you could have created a famous work in the history of art, which one would you choose? And why?

Guernica, by Pablo Picasso. That work has impacted and inspired me since I was a child. It is a work of art with a lot of message, history and creativity. Those 3 items are undoubtedly what inspires me to create my artistic works.

If you could invite a famous artist (dead or alive) to dinner, who would it be? How would you suggest to spend the evening?

I would definitely invite Andy Warhol, the creator of modern art in history. I think it would be a very interesting conversation, to learn about his history and how he came to create this branch of art that is booming today.
