In an era of digital overexposure and constant self-representation on social media, where images are produced and consumed in an instant, a refreshing artistic initiative emerged during the 2025 Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles from our ArtMajeur by YourArt event programming team: a free, open-access ephemeral photo studio open to all.
A Free and Artistic Photo Studio Open to All
Conceived as a thoughtful and creative response to today's visual saturation, the project aimed to reclaim the art of portrait photography, not as self-promotion, but as a meaningful, human, and artistic experience. Far from fleeting selfies, each photo captured here was a moment of connection, a carefully staged artistic act.

Emma Charrin’s Poetic Vision for Arles 2025
From July 8th to 10th 2025, locals, tourists, and art lovers alike were invited to be photographed by Emma Charrin, an artist present on ArtMajeur by YourArt. In a set designed especially for the event — inspired by the stones of the Camargue — Emma Charrin created a poetic and graphic visual world. Though her subjects were anonymous, the artistic staging provided a unifying aesthetic, turning the series of portraits into a coherent and striking visual collection.
Pop-Up Art Experience in the Heart of Arles
This initiative, led by our online platform ArtMajeur by YourArt, aimed to bring art into everyday life in a playful, immersive, and accessible way. The pop-up studio was hosted by BienVivant with Caroline Pons and et camille combaluzier a beloved Arles venue at 3, rue de la République, known for its commitment to wine, culture, and creative exchanges.
More Than a Portrait: A Shared Artistic Memory
Each participant left with a high-quality printed portrait, but more importantly, with the memory of a shared creative experience : a rare moment of artistic dialogue with the photographer, far from the norms of mass image consumption.
ArtMajeur by YourArt: Bringing Artists and Audiences Together
Through this project, ArtMajeur by YourArt reinforces its mission: to support artists and foster real-world encounters with art, both online and at major cultural events.
