Bobi McMillan, a Penticton artist has a passion about cats. She made 100 clay cats and created a Crazy Cats & Curiosity Art Exhibit.
McMillan said, "There are many crazy cats. They're hand-built out of clay and painted. Some are glazed and others are painted. All go through Bobi’s salon for cosmetic touchups."
The cat-tastic exhibit is temporarily located at the Penticton Art Council's galleries in the Leirhouse Cultural Centre in Penticton (Canada), where it brings a little joy to visitors.
"When people like cats they really like cats and Bobi actually does have a few cats here so people just keep coming home," stated Bethany Handfield, Penticton & District Community Arts Council.
Many of the cats displayed were inspired by musicians or famous artists, while others were just her imagination.
The Crazy Cats and Curiosity Exhibit is open at Leir House Cultural Center in Penticton (British Columbia, Canada,) until September 12, 2012.
