Elena Krikunova- contemporary Russian artist.
For Elena, art is more than just a visual spectacle- it is a form of art therapy, a medium through which she can infuse positive energy and emotions into the lives of those who likes her art works.
A harmonious blend of painting and art therapy encapsulates the essence of her artistic expression.
It was only years after completing medical school and practising medicine that she found herself drawn back to the world of painting. Embracing this newfound passion, she embarked on a path to become a professional artist, seeking guidance from seasoned painters while nurturing her skills through self-education. Eventually, Elena completed an intensive Course in Oil Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts.
Elena participated in various exhibitions, including international showcases and achieved first-place and accolades in international competitions.
In September 2024, Elena held a solo exhibition Elena’s art also found its way into the pages of art magazines. As a member of the Eurasian Union of Artists, she felt a sense of belonging to a community that shared her passion for art.
Elena’ paintings have found homes in private collections all over the world.
