This painting is part of a period of my work that focused on architectural structures. I am a big fan of various buildings and structures and the concept of the city in general, in particular, I love to encounter the sensations that abandoned, gray, inconspicuous, slightly creepy or large-scale buildings give me.

Here I was inspired by the concept of the layout of large cities, usually with a huge number of apartment buildings on the outskirts and some incredibly alluring buildings in their central part.

For me, looking from the outskirts of the city through the many windows of apartment buildings and the desire to be there, in the center, near a beautiful and large-scale building - it’s like the path to happiness, achieving a dream, it’s like looking at life from the outside, how many streets you have to walk, with what you will encounter on each of them, what you will learn, who you will have to part with during your journey, some of the streets you will pass quickly, and on some of them you can get lost and turn in the wrong direction, but with each from these streets you see your landmark, which lights the way for you, like a beacon of your life, the roads of which lead you to it - to happiness.
