Hello, my name is Elena Chugurova.
I was born in a small town in the Samara region on the Volga. She loved to draw since childhood, even sat down to watch TV with an album and pencils. Mom was proud of my drawings and showed them to everyone. But one day my mother's friend, an artist, came to visit us. When he saw my drawings, he sternly said that they were very bad, that's how a child of 3 years draws, they need to be thrown away, and it's better for you not to draw anymore. It was a trauma for many years.
Then, at the age of 14, I went to study at an evening art school, but it did not work out to graduate, because the building was demolished, and a new one was not provided.
I started painting again only after the birth of my first daughter. I drew for her and my pleasure.
Then I entered the Moscow Institute of Fashion Industry, the Faculty of Design. I graduated from it, having successfully defended my diploma, but I could not work in my specialty due to family circumstances. And the trauma of childhood did not give confidence.
And again, after the birth of my second daughter, I took up paints. I drew for her, painted on the doors and walls at home. And only a year ago I finally realized that painting is my vocation. I graduated from a course on textured interior painting. I loved this technique with all my heart. I continue my training in new techniques and trends for creating relevant works of art.
I draw inspiration from looking at rivers, seas, oceans, mountains and meadows, dew shimmering in the sun, cobwebs trembling from the wind. with my creativity I want to convey this beauty, to convey the energy of the universe contained in my paintings.
My works are unique in their technique, I use textured paste, they cannot be copied, duplicated. You won't get tired of looking at them, you want to look at them and touch them. everyone sees something different in them. They grant wishes and heal souls.
