Elena Carlier (Zhenatova), a French artist, has over 20 years of experience in Mixed Media Art and 4 years of teaching expertise with children and adults at various schools and art studios. Elena was a founder of the innovative Art School "Art & Workshops" in Warsaw, Poland, and she was a freelance art tutor living in Andalusia, Spain, and she is currently a freelance painter living in Aix-en-Provence, France.
As a participant in major international exhibitions and auctions, Elena offers variety of original art: floral art and animal paintings, seascapes and cityscapes, abstract and realistic approach of objects or figures, reflecting her unique perspective, ideas, and "world feelings." With artworks reaching many homes and private collections of people from around the world, including France, Italy, USA, Poland, UK, Germany, Ireland and others, Elena is constantly developing her skills in order to satisfy various custom requests for art commissionings.
Elena's diverse styles embrace expressionism and interior design artworks, figurative and abstract art. With versatile and resourceful, creative vibes, Elena uses a different techniques and materials to create divers style of paintings and artworks (oil / acrylic / watercolor / charcoal / pastel / modelling paste and gold leaf). Her artistic freedom is the cornerstone of her practice, allowing her to explore the beauty in nature, human forms, animals, landscapes, and urban structures, and to channel her fascination with emotions and human energy.
In Elena's own words, "Art is the best way to express myself and my feelings, so painting is my lifestyle. It is a way to get lost and roll around in the beautiful chaos around us and inside of me. Art is also how I leave some emotions behind. However, I enjoy the working process of each of my artworks."
