For George Floyd (2020) 绘画 由 Oberlin The Artist

I've always been an artist. Nothing is better than creating something. I have loved creating and creating and seeing my creations get more sophisticated, bright and expressive the more years I spent trying.
AI conflicts with personal artistic philosophies.
And since that is that case that I dislike AI when it comes to all things creative (or which ought to be), I doubt that I'll be posting more at all. I regret posting my artwork, or anything really, on the internet. I guess it seemed like the thing to do at the time! Huh. Kinda like Mardi Gras when you're out of beads, ya know? Oops; I should have thought that one through! Sa la vi.
What remains exists because my account will not let me delete or remove my files. Oh well! Just pay close attention to the date on whatever weirdness you view, promise? Maybe that's for the best - I'm quite a shy person and if left to me perhaps there would only be one painting to view. But now, all my work is my best work. I had listed some accomplishments, but deleted them. They are now on my resume filed under 'noneahyourbusiness'
If you want to inquire about anything that comes to mind, message me.
Something recent: My lifelong career was described as a 'hobby' by one of my relatives. Ouch! I was sitting next to my significant other, who has invested the same amount of time, effort, blood, sweat, tears into art as I did. We both have a BFA. The only real difference between the two of us us that he makes money, while I do not. This makes his enterprise a career and mine a hobby. Huh, well, tell that the Van Gogh. Another big difference between the two of is is that I have epilepsy. My family makes fun of me when I ask for assistance, and makes fun of me when I don't. There is no winning with my family. Since they rarely witness me thrashing, heaving, foaming and convulsing, they act as if it doesn't happen at all. This hurts me deeply. I get the old 'pull yourself up by your bootstraps' line from people who have never had a seizure and advice about art from people who can't finish a paint by numbers.
From now on, the work stays in the studio. The work in the studio is only for the eyes of the true art appreciator. Speaking as the impartial creator, I'd say that the new creations are of course better. Yup, my new paintings rock 50 to 100 times harder than my older ones.
Any of the art that you see may have since been painted over, traded, donated, given away, eaten, burned, buried or destroyed.
