Coloring canvases with joy and color is my proposal. A native of São Paulo living in Florianópolis since 1999, I was exposed to the artistic world in a curious way.
A self-taught artist, I was discovered by Diplomat Paulo Campos, at the time the Consul General of Brazil in London and head of the ceremonial department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which organized the XIX Meeting of the Mercosur Common Market Council.
One of my works was chosen to decorate the main hall of the event, which also featured paintings by renowned Santa Catarina artists such as Janga, Tolentino, Flavia Fernandes, Rubens Oestroem, and Lena Costa.
After my debut in the main hall, I started sending canvases throughout Brazil and abroad. My first solo exhibition was in 2002, in Florianópolis, where 15 canvases portrayed the richness of the underwater fauna and flora of the Arvoredo and Aranhas Islands, a region that I discovered in detail on diving excursions. In the second exhibition, “Sea of Flowers, Flowers of the Sea”, with vibrant colors and strong lines, I mixed the beauty and joy of flowers with the sea in 16 new works.
After studying and learning a little about digital art, I started painting digitally and creating via tablet and especially mobile with ease and flexibility which fascinated me. “I have the freedom to take my studio wherever I go and paint anywhere.”
