I am Dmytro Baryshev, a contemporary artist whose work lies at the intersection of expressionism, symbolism, and abstraction. Originally from Ukraine, I began my artistic journey at an early age, experimenting with various techniques and materials, gradually developing a unique artistic language that distinguishes my work.

My art is infused with deep philosophical reflections and a quest for meaning. Inspired by my travels to over 60 countries, I paint ideas from rich cultural traditions, the symbolism of nature, and human emotions. Central to my work are themes of self-discovery, inner strength, and the interaction between humanity and the world around us. My paintings often explore contradictions between the real and the unreal, harmony and chaos, beauty and roughness, imbuing them with deep emotional and philosophical significance.

I employ complex techniques, including working with oil, acrylic, and enamel, and I incorporate unusual materials like gold leaf and precious stones. My artistic style is characterized by layering and texture, with dynamic lines and strokes creating a vibrant, rich surface. This allows me to convey not only form and color but also emotional states, hidden meanings, and symbols.

My works have been exhibited in numerous shows both in Ukraine and internationally, garnering interest from collectors and galleries alike. I continue to evolve and experiment, staying true to my inner quest and artistic mission — to create art that awakens thoughts and emotions, transforming the viewer’s perception.
